Our Queer@Work online course aims to create a comprehensive understanding and awareness of LGBTIQ+ issues in the workplace. It offers participants the opportunity to engage with the challenges and experiences of queer people in the world of work.
Through interactive modules, expert input, expert interviews and case studies, you can learn how to create an inclusive and supportive working environment. The course not only provides knowledge, but also offers practical tools and strategies to reduce discrimination and actively promote diversity in the workplace.
The Queer@Work online course is a basic training for HR managers and executives as well as other key personnel. With the knowledge gained from our course, HR managers can take targeted measures to attract and retain talent from the LGBTIQ* community. By increasing acceptance and equality in the workplace, you can create a supportive environment for queer people in the workplace and help to reduce discrimination and prejudice. This will make you an employer that queer people will find and consider. You will also receive practical tips and tools to be a confident LGBTIQ* ally.
In order to keep queer people in the company, an open culture is needed across all departments. For this reason, there will also be an adapted version of the course for people in key roles and managers, which can be used as an internal training tool.
Our guests have different roles and are from the university context, BASF, nexum, biotechnology environment, IT, medical group or a craftsman from the production sector.
Our online course helps to make the working environment friendlier, more inclusive and respectful for all employees while promoting the values of diversity and inclusion in an organization.
Companies and organizations that promote diversity create a working environment in which all employees feel welcome and respected. Our online course can help to raise awareness of the concerns of LGBTIQ+ employees and increase acceptance.
Our course helps to reduce prejudice and discrimination in the workplace by teaching participants how to behave respectfully towards colleagues from the LGBTIQ+ community and how to act as a supportive ally.
The General Equal Opportunities Act (AGG) prohibits, among other things, discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in the workplace. In order to comply with its legal obligations, internal educational work must be carried out.
When companies stand up for the concerns and needs of their employees, this often increases employee loyalty and satisfaction. LGBTIQ+ employees who feel accepted and supported in their working environment tend to be more motivated and perform better.
Companies that actively embrace diversity can use this as a competitive advantage to attract talent that values it.
Many people have limited knowledge about LGBTIQ* issues. Our online course provides an opportunity to share knowledge, dispel myths and prejudices and hear stories from people in the community.
The course can also help managers to better understand the needs of their employees and promote a more inclusive leadership culture.
